I've been going around for the last three days with that song from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in my head.
"For I've got a golden ticket, for I've got a golden twinkle in my eye."
Here is my golden ticket. I got my 10th stamp this last Tuesday when I ordered take-out.
I couldn't wait until Friday to use this for my free meal.
So I took my favorite middle-schooler....
He gets out of school at 11:00 on Friday and this is our tradition.
And I took my favorite toddler....
....and I got my beloved Pork Salad, black beans, no pico, no guac,
....and TWO house dressings. I must have two. I could bathe in this stuff. Why is it so darn delicious?
I love, love, love Cafe Rio and eat there at least twice a week.
I average one free meal per month.
And when I call to place my take-out order and tell them my name, they now say,
"Hello Amy. Will you be getting the pork salad, black beans, no pico, no guac, and two house dressings?"
Where everybody knows your name. Right?

yummy, yummy, yummy! I love it when my card fills up. I wish I ate there as much as you do, you're so lucky!
hahaha love this! I miss that place everyday. That is one thing they don't have here...good Mexican food like I grew up on!
