Please, No More Snow

This January has been ridiculous for snow. It has probably snowed every other day here. On MLK day I tried to drive to the office, but the snow was so bad I turned around and came home. We built a snow cave in the back yard instead, which, of course, we forgot to take pictures of. It has probably snowed 5000 times since then. Here is Lucy in our driveway with the snow piled up as tall as she is.

On the other hand, because it has been so cold, Josh has had plenty of time to devote to his number one obsession--legos, or as Amy likes to call them, "those gosh-darn legos." He got this Tie-Fighter for X-mas and built it in about 3 days. He wants me to tell everyone that it is supposed to be for ages 14+, but he had no problem with it.
We wish we were here, but no chance of that right now:

My Awesome Wife

Amy is going into the last two months of her pregnancy, and I think that she is hating pretty much every second of it. So, to cheer her up, I thought I would list ten things that I love about her, in no particular order:

(1) She repeats everything three times when she is really worked up about something. She could be mad, excited, scared, whatever. For example, "I got these shoes for ten dollars at Target. Ten dollars. Ten." Or, "I still have two months of pregnancy left. Two months Jeff. Two months!"

(2) She never does anything halfway. She is completely insane when it comes to doing things all-out and perfectly.

(3) She is the best to go on trips with--always organized, super enthusiatic, never gets tired, and cries during every takeoff.

(4) Fantastic legs

(5) She is alot smarter than me but doesn't think that she is.

(6) She takes care of virtually everything having to do with finances, running the house etc. I always like to say that I practice law and Amy does everything else.

(7) She will utter these two sentences every time we go out to eat--guaranteed. "I think I want to try something new this time; I always get the same thing here." "Why did I try something new?"

(8) She's beautiful.

(9) She's totally devoted to the church.

(10) She's ultra-competative, especially when it comes to things like games. She once almost took Stacey's date's eye out on a blind date because she got so mad after losing a board game that she threw something at him.

There are many more things, but this is a good start. Love you Ames.
