It's A......

 It's a BOY!!!!!
But WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!
(Read on, please.)

15 weeks

I SWEAR IF I GET ONE MORE SYMPATHY COMMENT ABOUT HAVING ANOTHER BOY I AM GOING TO SCREAM!!!

I am THRILLED to have another perfect, healthy life growing inside of me--boy OR girl.
I thought we were DEFINITELY done after having Sam due to some health problems, and I was a little sad.  To be given this chance to do this one more time is such a blessing and I am so happy.
A baby!  I get to have another baby!

Did you know....
This baby will be nearly 5 years younger than Sam?
I have the cutest name picked out?  Sorry...not telling.
I come from a family of 5 sisters (and 1 brother) and between the 5 of us girls there are (or will be soon) 9 boys and only 1 girl?
Two of my sisters, Steph and Stacey, are pregnant with boys, too!?!!!
That awful, heinous, ovarian cyst that nearly caused me to bleed internally to death (in Disneyland!) had been growing for over a year and was the cause of ALL my health problems?

So basically, if you think about it, Disneyland saved my health and my life.  ;) hehe.
One of the bumpy rides caused that blasted cyst to finally burst.

I feel better now, (nausea, fatigue, backache and all) than I have the last 18 months.
I'm in a perpetual state of euphoria and I'm FINALLY enjoying a pregnancy.
Last the best, right?

I cannot wait to meet my sweet little boy.  I already love him so much.
Sam will have a little buddy to pick on, and I will have another darling, handsome boy, and I know Lucy will mother this poor boy to death, and surely he will idolize his older brothers, Josh and Jake, and Jeff, what can I say?
He pretty much only has Y chromosomes.  :)

I will admit that Lucy was pretty disappointed.
She wanted a sister--mainly so she could have a bunkbed.
I promised her that if it was another brother then we would both go get our ears pierced AND take a trip to NYC--girls only!!!

Now it's time to get planning and shopping for boy stuff.
I am basically starting over. (Hey! Anybody wanna throw me a shower?  Totally kidding.)
I threw out EVERYTHING.
No stroller, no crib, no bedding, no carseat, no clothes.  Nothing.

Better get cracking'

P.S.  Started feeling the baby move this last week--so miraculous!!!
I am in love!

Congratulations Amy! I love boys. I am the oldest of four girls, and my parents got SO tired of the "Don't you wish you had a boy?" and "Are you going to try for one more to see if you can get a boy?" comments. They didn't care. All they cared about was that we were healthy and happy. I always wished I had a brother, but really I love my sisters and we learned that girls can do anything boys can do, if we really wanted to, so really I didn't miss out on anything. You have such sweet handsome boys. The world needs more of those kind, and you are a great mom, so they must be getting sent to the right home. Good luck. I think it's great!

Congrats on another boy! I love boys I think they are so fun! Plus Steph and Stacey are having boys right? So many boy cousins to play with-yay! I feel for Lucy, My brother was sad when Hayley turned out to be a girl but he pretty much made her his buddy & brother those two were best buds right up until he left on his mission. I love how you are looking at this pregnancy it truly is a gift to be pregnant and to have babies and I wish more woman felt that way instead of complaining the whole 9 months!

Congrats on your new little boy. I know if I had another baby it would be a boy too. I think boys are so much easier than girls. To many hormones. I hope yoru pregnancy continues to go well. I lived on sonic lemon strawaberry slushy for weeks. Enjoy!

Congrats! I think that's so exciting. I am the only girl in my family right in the middle of the boys. As a kid, I hated it. As an adult, I LOVE IT! It has its perks. I am always the favorite daughter. Congrats again on the baby. He will be adorable and loved!! You look great too!

I love all six of my boys. My girls are not better, but they are easier to raise. I will never apologize for being honest about that. It doesn't take away from the love I have for my boys. I do feel very blessed that I got twin girls.

If I would have been offered a choice when I was pregnant for the last two times, I would of chosen girls. But thankfully, I was not. My last two boys are very special and I would have missed out if I didn't get to be their mother. And I know how important it is for moms to raise good men. I think being a mother to many boys is a job reserved for very strong women ;)
