My daughter has a ridiculous amount of hair.
Ridiculous!
It's definitely not from me. I think she gets it from her Aunt Stacey or her dad. They both have thick, curly hair.
I've taken her to different hair dressers and they all comment that her hair is super thick even for an adult--much less a 6-year-old.
The problem is I no longer know what to do with it--at least not something that takes less than an hour.
Here we are trying sponge curlers for the first time.
This was taken when she just turned 3. It was more manageable back then because it wasn't quite as thick and heavy.

Here's the result three days later.
I definitely do NOT wash her hair every day. It takes well over an hour to wash, condition (with expensive products I might add), comb out, and put up her hair.
I had to throw this in because I thought it was hilarious.
I found this note in her backpack.

Wow! That hair is amazing! Lucy is so darling!
I feel you on the daughter with thick hair. Getting Sade's hair done has always been an ordeal from the second she was born...and I think Lucy has more! I remember trying to brush through it. What if you tried shoulder length? It is so cute though:)
Whoa, that is A LOT of hair. Love the curls and it even looks great three days later!
