O Christmas Tree

I have had the same Christmas tree decorations for 10 years.
I loved them and they worked perfectly in my last house when my main colors were gold and red.
And it still worked before I did my family room makeover.

But now my family room looks like this, and I have this weird thing about the Christmas tree decor needing to match the room decor.

I'm planning on rearranging the furniture a bit and putting the Christmas tree in the corner where that big, black chair is.

So, I went to Tai Pan (favorite store in the world!), shopped around, and came up with a color scheme.
But then one of my kids came home from school and said it looked like the Fourth of July.
Red, white, silver, and blue.

Crrrrrraaaaaaaapppp!
Does it??

LOL! You're so funny; I really love reading about your adventures. And you are so talented a decorator!

I think once you get the decor on the green tree, it will be stunning. If it looks a little iffy, try taking out the red?

Beautiful pics!

I agree with Natalie...I think once the decorations are on, it will be fine mixing in with the green of your tree...but if not, we have always done a red/white tree, and I think the blue/white/silver would be stunning against the colors of your room!

I WISH we had a Taipan here! It's one of the places I make sure I visit whenever I go back to UT.

I think it will be pretty, but like the others said, if it's going to bug you take out either the red or the blue. And make sure you show us pics when it's done!
