We Have a Pet! (Sort of...)

 This is Georgia.  She is my sister's dog.  She had two dogs but back in November her beloved Von Holland died from complications of decon poisoning.  It was devastating.  Poor little Georgia loved Von and moped around for days.  Georgia is a lap dog and needs constant companionship.  My sister works all day, 6 days a week and wondered what she was going to do with Georgia.


I have NEVER been a dog lover.  I will probably NEVER have a dog.  They even scare me a little bit, but I volunteered to take Georgia during the day for a day or two just to see how it would go.


Long story made short:  We have had Georgia at our house nearly every day for the last 3 months.  She is very comfortable at our house now (but still barks like crazy when Keri honks or knocks on the door to pick her up at night).  My kids all love her.  She's very easy to take care of and just loves sitting by someone on the couch.

 

Sam loves to "stand Joeja up."  Poor Joeja is a very good sport.
