We are really, really, really, really, really, really, really tired

So, Sammer Jammer is on his second ear infection in four weeks, and he does not do well dealing with the pain on his own, poor little guy. This means that he is not sleeping, which means that Amy and I are not sleeping, which means we are really, really tired. Friday night, his eardrum burst so we are taking him to an ENT next week and will probably be putting tubes in very soon. The up-side of this is that I am getting caught up on watching Saved by the Bell (5-7 every morning on TBS). But we love the little guy and feel very bad for him.

Amy went to J's school. J got spot-lighted, and his class got to ask him any question that they wanted about him. One little girl asked him what his favorite joke is, and to Amy's surprise and horror, J told this little gem: "Why do 'toots' smell? So deaf people can enjoy them too." Thanks to Aunt Keri for that one.

Meanwhile, Amy and I apparently "treat Lucy like a princess" and Josh "like a peasant."

The most exciting thing happening, except for the 3-4 hours of sleep we are getting each night, is the progress on our new house. Here are some photos of the process along with some photos of Lucy on the fieldtrip she and I went on with her preschool, and some pictures of the Samster (his first Yankees hat).

I laughed out loud at the toot joke. And then even harder when I read that Keri taught that one to him. Saved by the Bell is Awesome. Jeff, if you wanted to get caught up on all of the episodes, you should have just asked us to bring all of our DVDs of all of the seasons out there last weekend. We could have also brought Star Trek (the Captain Kirk Era). Christmas is just around the corner, and we have you, so just let me know if those are top on your list.

the josh quote is priceless. He is one funny and witty. Oh and the toot quote isn't bad either. The hollands sure are a classy bunch.

I can just imagine Amy's face when the toot joke came out. Hee Hee. I feel so bad for Samster. At least you know the tubes will solve the problem. It was so amazing how fast the problem was gone when Meg got tubes, and I know Lucy was the same. Holy smokes about the house. I had no idea that it was that far along. I am so excited for you guys. We will have to come out and see it some time. Good luck with Sam.
