I just thought I would update everyone on my sister Julie's condition. She is pregnant with identical twin boys and has been on strict bedrest for 5 weeks now. Her doc admitted her to the hospital last Friday (30 weeks) because of contractions and leaking amniotic fluid. The hope is to make it to 32 weeks. That is the cutoff point where there will likely be no long-term effects on the babies. They have given Julie magnesium to stop the contractions and it makes her very sick (vomiting, headaches, etc.). They did an ultrasound on the babies and they are doing fantastically. Twin "A" is 4 pounds already! ...and twin "B" is not far behind at about 3 1/2 pounds. They monitor them around the clock and as long as they can keep contractions under control and the babies are not in distress they will keep them in, but the minute one or both babies show signs of distress they will do an emergency C-section. Babies will likely stay in the hospital for about 6 weeks. Please keep them in your prayers.

Julie and PJ are amazing troopers through all of this. They will be the best parents ever! We love you both. Hang in there!

Good luck to your sister! They'll be in our prayers. Loved the post of your cell phone pics. Amy and Lucy look so cute skating! Jeff - you and Kenny and your bikes are too cool for words. Except you are a little bit cooler because you blog.
p.s. We wish we lived by you guys too and we'll be in Salt Lake over Thanksgiving...let's get together for sure!

We'll be praying for your sister and the babies. She must be so miserable. Thank goodness they are so big allready!
I can't believe Jeff is riding his bike to the top of the Alpine Loop. That is a major climb. All I have to say is WOW!

Glad to hear Julie's doing well.

Dave is my boyfriend! We've been dating for almost 2 years now. We met at a mission reunion. We served in the same mission, but didn't meet until after. He's in Florida for the summer working, so it's been tough, but it's almost over! :)
