Happy Birthday Brian
Happy birthday to my brother Brian, who is turning something like 21 today. Brian is freaking awesome because (1) he likes all the right music--U2, Radiohead, Coldplay, Oasis (especially Oasis) and others; (2) he Bics his dome; (3) he was the Super Mario Bros. coinmaster in 1989, and we played that game together every day the month before I went on my mission; (4) he is a great dad and husband; (5) he has a friend named Easton who can't heal a boxer to save his life; (6) he is one of the three die-hard Yankee fan Droubay brothers; (7) he is just a flat out great guy. I love you Bri (aka Boogedy). Happy Birthday!

We love Brian too!! We are so sad that we missed the "backyard of fire" this year. We had to go down to Bakersfield since you aren't allowed to do any type of fireworks at all in our city. We thought about all of you this past weekend and are looking forward to the day we can all hang out together again.
This is Brian, not Heather. This is my first post on a blog, and I am very nervous. It feels like I'm going to a job interview or something. I've been waiting for someone to post a blog strictly about me . . . it's about time. Thanks for coming through in the clutch, J. Maybe this will open the flood gates of blogging madness. I do shave my dome, shamelessly, even with all of the moles up there. And I do listen to most of the same music as my protege, Jeff, although I was surprised to see Glass Tiger wasn't on the list.
