Lucy's First Day of School

Outfit all laid out.

Her Wii MarioKart boys backpack packed.

The poster she worked on for 3 days to make it perfect.

Ready to head out the door.

Waiting at the school.

Putting her binder away in her cubby.

Here is where the teacher told the moms to say good-bye and told the kids to go pick a book and sit down on the carpet to read. (This is also the part where I start to cry and hurry to the car before anyone can see.)
Jake on his...ummmm....6th day of school. Big, handsome 3rd grader.
And Josh, the cool 6th grader who "rules the school".

Awesome. They all look ready (and happy) to go to school. I cry when I think about those days with Annie when she was little and how I won't ever get those days back. But taking her to school was just fine with me. I understand the crying though. Lucy looks adorable--what a cute skirt! Hope this week is easier for you. I can't believe Oma and Opa have FIVE kindergartners. That's crazy!!!

Miss you guys. Are you and the kids coming out for the draft?

Tomorrow is my big day with MEg. I am completely emotionally unprepared. Lucy looks adorable as usual. I cannot believe Josh is in 6th grade.
