Are you Noticing a Pattern?......Crazy Wind.....Unbirthday

1000 popsicle sticks. It was the most fun 5 minutes he has ever experienced so far in his life. He has discovered the wonderful world of cabinets and drawers and all they contain. I am currently rearranging my kitchen.

We had the CRAZIEST wind storm EVER! Our backyard is the blackhole for tumbleweeds. They never exit once they enter. Our neighbors said they would swirl up and down and around but never blow away. And why they all magneted right to our back door is a total mystery (cue Twilight Zone music).

This is what it looked like from the inside of our back door. If there was a fire in our house and this was the only door, we would all be dead :>)

This is what happened to our poor neighbor's swingset.
Since Lucy's birthday is after pre-school is over, we celebrated her unbirthday today. We brought pictures of Lucy and treats for the class. The kids all circled around her and sang her songs. Her teacher gave her a stuffed bear. I am so proud of my little Blueberry. Her teacher says she ALWAYS obeys, is kind to everyone and is very smart. She can already read! There never was a happier girl than my Lulu.

Ok Sam is in heaven in that new house. I couldn't believe your backyard when I saw it. Why do all the tumbleweeds end up right up against your back door? And lucy...what a doll. I am glad she had such a good day.

Oh the wind was crazy! Glad we had no tumble weeds by our house. Sadie thought church for sure was supposed to be canceled. No such luck for her. Hope Jeff has fun with the tumble weed disaster cleanup.

That is the most bizarre thing I've seen. I am confused why they all went to the same spot.
And your house might be a little messy, but at least Sam is entertained! I'll take that trade off any day!!

I burst out laughing with the "if there was fire, and this was the only door, we would all be dead" comment...hahahahahahha I can just imagine it and it makes me giggle...not that you would all die, but that you would say it...oh only our family would think it was funny.

You guys will need a dump truck to get rid of all of those weeds. The prior windstorm to this last one we had some major tumbleweeds in our bag yard. I was standing inside my garbage can jumping up and down on them trying to get more in. They are amazingly dense.
I am glad Sam is enjoying mobility.

What a busy busy boy. Both of our kids were obsessed with dumping all of our DVDs and VHSs over and over again. Endless fun. Happy unbirthday to Lucy. Anything different is so special to them. Oh, and those tumbleweeds are a little creepy.

Wow I didn't think it was that bad. We get some in our walkout but that's a hole so they fall in. I don't get how that happens right against your back door. Josh and I may have to do a scientific study next storm and come up with some hypotheses. Nonetheless, Sam is a scampertron.

Oh you are in such a BUSY stage with your little guy! All of the magnet locks on my bottom kitchen cupboards remind me of that stage everyday. Can't believe that wind! What cool pictures. Hope it turns springy for you guys soon. I wish we lived closer. I'm quite sure Lucy and Ellie would get along famously. :)
